Jagran correspondent, Sahibganj. JMM's central spokesperson Pankaj Mishra said that if the tender for the rail overbridge to be built at the eastern and western gates of the city was not done by January 15, then the transportation of stones from Sahibganj through railway rakes would come to a halt from January 16.

Businessmen will send their goods out through trucks. A meeting will be held with stone businessmen on December 23 to chalk out further strategy. He was addressing journalists at the party office on Sunday.

He said that the former public representatives of Rajmahal assembly constituency worked to cheat the people. From 2014 to 2019, there was a double engine government in the state but no development work was done.

Even in 2019, when BJP MLAs won and their government was at the Centre, nothing happened. Now when he is talking to the Railways for the construction of ROB here, he is feeling pain.

He is trying to disrupt the process of ROB construction and is trying to take credit for every work. He said that what he did for the construction of ROB should be made public.

One year time for construction of bridge on Ganga

The central spokesperson said that he is giving one year's time to the central government to remove the obstacles in the construction of the bridge on the Ganga between Rajmahal-Manikchak. If its tender is not awarded by the end of 2026, then in 2027 the water going to Adani from Godda and the coal going from Lalmatia will also be stopped.

He said that political parties will have to rise above partisan sentiments and unite for the development of Sahibganj. He said that now the only aim of his life is the all-round development of Sahibganj.

It is possible that if he raises his voice for his rights, central agencies may be put behind him, but he is not afraid of this. He is even ready to be hanged for the development of Sahibganj. He said that soon Chief Minister Hemant Soren will lay the foundation stone of Marine Drive, Airport and Medical College.

Sadar Hospital currently has 100 beds, which is proposed to be increased to 200 beds. Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari himself is coming on January 5 to see the land of the Medical College. The roads of the district are being repaired. After these schemes come back on track, initiatives will be taken for industrialization of the district.

On this occasion, District President Arun Singh, Secretary Suresh Tudu, MP representatives Sanjeev Samu Hembram, Sanjay Goswami, Bablu Mishra etc. were present.

Insulted his party's MP

Pankaj Mishra said that the former MLA of Rajmahal forgets everything in the race to take credit. In 2014, Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey, who had come to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ganga bridge, was opposed by people close to the local MLA. Because of this the work of the Ganga bridge was halted for two years.

The people here went to Dr. Nishikant Dubey and apologized, then the construction of the bridge started. He said that some people also opposed the then Railway Minister Gani Khan Chaudhary due to which all the railway offices were shifted to Malda.
