Jagran correspondent, Shamli. There is good news for the unemployed youth of the district. Under the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission, a large employment fair will be organized in Shamli on March 17. The district administration has started preparations for the fair.
A target has been set to provide employment opportunities to more than 2000 candidates in this grand fair to be organized at City Green Banquet Hall located on Delhi Road of the city. More than 40 companies will participate. The biggest feature of this fair is that along with local industries, more than 40 reputed external companies of the country will also participate in it.
District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Chauhan said that the main objective of the administration is to provide adequate and better employment opportunities to the youth of the district near their homes. To participate in the fair, it will be mandatory for the candidates to register online. Preference will be given to ITI, Polytechnic, Graduate, Post Graduate and youth trained under Skill Development Mission. The District Magistrate has instructed the officials of the Education Department, ITI and Skill Development Mission to register as many youth as possible.
Also, the Industry Department and Labor Department have been given the responsibility to connect big companies with this fair so that high paying jobs can also be available to the local youth.
