A vacant plot near Pandit Saligram Inter College in Kulesara, Noida has turned into an illegal garbage dump for two years. Awakening

Swati Bhatia, Noida. Due to the negligence of the officials, the vacant plot adjacent to Shri Krishna Enclave near Pandit Saligram Inter College in Kulesara has turned into an illegal garbage dump for the last two years. The continuous dumping of garbage in the densely populated area is causing great inconvenience to the local residents, yet no concrete action has been taken.

Local residents say that more than a thousand families live in this area. Despite having houses, schools and residential areas, garbage is being systematically dumped in vacant plots. The foul smell rising in the morning and evening makes it difficult for people to stay in their homes. The situation becomes worse due to the rotting of garbage in rain and sun.

Residents allege that despite repeated complaints, neither cleaning has been done nor any action has been taken against those dumping garbage. Mosquitoes and stray animals keep hovering over garbage heaps, increasing the risk of infectious diseases. This is especially affecting the health of children and the elderly.

People of the area say that if this problem is not fixed soon, the situation may get worse. They have demanded the authorities to immediately remove the garbage, fence the plot and do regular monitoring so that it is not dumped there again.

We have been facing this problem for two years. The smell makes it difficult to sit at home.

Children are falling ill again and again. Despite complaints, no action is being taken.

If immediate action is not taken, we will be forced to protest.
