Jagran correspondent, Meerut. The police administration has made strict security arrangements to ensure that the Christmas festival passes off peacefully. The city is being monitored by dividing it into zones and sectors. Crowded areas and around churches will be monitored through drone cameras.
According to SSP Dr. Vipin Tada, heavy police force has been deployed at 30 major churches of the district. Women policemen have been put on alert duty at public places like hotels and restaurants.
There are instructions to take strict action against those who perform stunts on bikes and those who create unrest by taking advantage of the fog. Cyber cell and surveillance team are keeping a close watch on those spreading misleading or inflammatory messages on social media.
