Jagran correspondent, Patna. CTET Exam: The examination of Paper 1 and 2 of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) started from Saturday at 1803 centers across the country including 80 in Patna.

Paper-2 examination was conducted at 1801 centers across the country. More than 20 thousand candidates appeared in Patna. However, the examination could not be conducted on Saturday at two centers located in Vaishali (Hajipur) district of Bihar.

Releasing information on this, CBSE said that the examination could not be conducted due to unavoidable reasons. However, the board has clarified that the re-examination of the candidates at both these centers will be conducted within the next 15 days.

Revised schedule of examination will be informed separately. For this, the board has told the candidates that this information will be given to them separately. Also, people have been asked to keep an eye on the board's website for latest updates.

Examination could not be conducted at these centers

The two centers where the examination could not be conducted include St. John's Academy Basmati Nagar (125016) and Lakshya International Academy (125014).

An official notice issued in this regard said that the inconvenience is regretted. A total of 1803 examination centers were set up for CTET across the country. These were the only two centers in Vaishali where the Paper 2 examination could not be conducted.
