In Ballia, Seven Miscreants Entered The House By Climbing The Boundary Wall, Looted Lakhs, Beat Up Women And Elderly People.

In Ballia, miscreants escaped after entering a house, looting lakhs of rupees, assaulting women and elderly people.

On Sunday midnight, seven miscreants entered the house of Motilal God, a resident of Bhikhachhapra Nai Basti (Dera of Munj) in the area, by jumping over the boundary wall, beat the women with weapons and looted gold and silver jewelery and precious utensils. On protesting, the miscreants also beat up the elderly member of the house. While leaving, the miscreants locked all the family members in a room and ran away with the mobile phone.

Homeowner Motilal God said that the number of miscreants was seven, out of which one had a pistol and the others had a knife and a knife. First of all, as soon as the miscreants entered the house, they beat up his wife Banshi Devi and threatened her to remain silent, due to which she got scared. After this, the miscreants entered the room of elder daughter-in-law Bindu Devi who was sleeping in the adjacent room and assaulted her also. If they raised any noise, they were threatened with death and loss of honour.

Seeing Bindu Devi's eight-year-old son Vivek frightened, the mother hid him in her lap. The miscreants looted Bindu Devi's gold mangalsutra, mangtika, earrings, locket and silver anklets and other jewellery. After this, the miscreants broke the box in the room of younger daughter-in-law Khushboo Devi (who had gone to her maternal home at that time) and also took out the gold and silver jewelery kept in it. The miscreants also took with themselves the precious utensils found in the tilak of both the sons.

70 year old Motilal God was also beaten badly when he protested against the incident. After the miscreants left, Bindu Devi came out through the window and raised noise from the terrace, then the villagers reached the spot, but by then the miscreants had fled. The villagers informed number 112 in the night itself. PRB police reached the spot and advised the victims to come to the police station in the morning. On Monday morning, based on the complaint of Banshi Devi, the police registered an FIR of theft and started investigation.

The incident site has been investigated by the forensic team. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the victim and investigation is being done. Action will be taken according to the facts that emerge in the investigation.-Vipin Singh, Inspector in-charge Bairia.
