Charkhi Dadri: Driver and cleaner burnt alive in truck accident.
Jagran correspondent, Charkhi Dadri. A truck coming from behind collided with a poorly parked truck on NH-152 D near Kamod village of Charkhi Dadri district on Wednesday night. The driver and cleaner of the previous truck were burnt alive in the accident. The deceased were identified as driver Rajesh (48), resident of village Khanda Khedi in Hisar district and Jaswant (40), resident of Roopgarh, Jind. Both the bodies were sent from Dadri Civil Hospital to Rohtak PGI for post-mortem. At the same time, the police have registered a case against the driver of the poorly parked truck on the statement of Ravi, son of the deceased driver Rajesh. The accused driver was also injured in the accident.
In the statement given to the police, Ravi, resident of Khanda Khedi, said that his father Rajesh was the driver of the truck of Jagdeep Singh, resident of Jind. Jaswant was a cleaner on the truck with his father. On December 2, he had left for Jind from Bhopal with a heavy load. At night he got information that his father's truck had collided with another truck on NH 152 D near Dadri and the driver and the cleaner were burnt alive.
Deceased's son Ravi told that when he reached the spot, he found the fire department team extinguishing the fire and the police team was also there. Ravi alleged that the accident happened due to the negligence of the driver of the other truck. Whereas, the second truck was driven by Satbir, a resident of Bhageshwari village of Dadri district, from Farrukhnagar. This truck was filled with mustard, which was to be delivered to Hisar. Satbir got injured in the accident. At the same time, within 10 hours of this accident, two more accidents took place within a distance of 50 meters, in which two real brothers were injured. One was referred to Rohtak PGI.
The accused truck driver said: I was jacking up the tire after the tire burst and the accident happened.
Satbir, the truck driver accused of the accident and undergoing treatment at Dadri Civil Hospital, said that the tire of the truck burst while going to Hisar. He was stopping the truck and jacking it and at the same time a truck coming from behind hit his truck. His head hit the divider and he got injured.
