Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. On Wednesday, in Karhaida of Sahibabad police station area, two youths in a car got diesel filled from a petrol pump and did not pay. When the petrol pump attendants asked for money, the accused beat them up and injured them with sharp objects. The victim lodged a report in the matter. The police have arrested the accused and seized the car.
Maliwada resident Pankaj says that he works at Mahalaxmi Filling Station petrol pump located in Karheda. He says that around 3.30 am on January 7, two youths in a car reached the pump and asked to put diesel in the car.
One youth asked to pour diesel worth Rs 300 and the other Rs 500. When Pankaj asked for money before pouring diesel, the accused started abusing. After this he poured diesel worth five hundred rupees. After this the accused started leaving the spot without paying the money.
When they stopped the car and asked for money, the accused started abusing. He called his fellow salesmen Ramesh, Mandeep and Saurabh. On this the accused beat him up and attacked him with a sharp object.
During this time, guard Brijpal posted at the pump also came to the spot, but the accused attacked and injured two employees. After this the accused fled from the spot.
The victim informed the police on dial-112. ACP Sahibabad Shweta Yadav says that after registering a report in the matter, the car owner Nikhil and his partner Nikhil, resident of Lajpat Nagar, have been arrested and the car has been seized. Both were under the influence of alcohol.
