Anil Bhardwaj, Gurugram. People who got jobs under the sports quota scheme on the basis of sports gradation certificate five years ago are now being investigated.
On behalf of the Sports Director's Office, orders have been given to all the District Sports Officers to check whether the sports gradation made before the year 2018 is correct or not. All the people who are being investigated are working in class IV jobs in Haryana Government.
Actually, rules for making sports gradation were made in the year 2018, but the sports gradation certificate made before that is being examined to see whether the person who has received the gradation has been a sportsperson or not. Whether he was entitled to receive that category of gradation or not.
Because earlier also such gradation certificates have been caught in the state, whose gradation could not be made but their gradation certificates were made in the sports department. Now those who are being investigated are those who have got jobs in the recruitment done by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) at different times.
Two thousand certificates will be examined
It is being told that there are more than two thousand people across the state who are being investigated. There are some people who have their gradation certificates and there are some people who do not have their gradation certificates.
He had got the job on the basis of his sports certificate and was later asked to submit the gradation certificate. The Sports Department had refused to make sports certificates for those whose graduation certificates were not made.
The same people had said before the government that when the gradation certificates of some people were made before the year 2018, then why theirs were not being made. Now the government is getting everyone tested and gradation certificates will be made for those who are right.
When a player participates in a competition and wins a medal there, a gradation certificate of grade A, B, C, D is prepared according to his medal. On the basis of which he/she gets relaxation of some marks in college admission and also gets benefit (discount) in getting a job under sports quota.

There are orders to check the beneficiaries who got jobs from Gurugram, Rewari, Nuh, Palwal, Faridabad and Mahendragarh districts. The investigation has to be completed in the next ten days. What has to be checked is whether the sports certificate and sports gradation submitted by the job seekers is correct or not. The one who has submitted the gradations, whether they follow the rules or not.
