In Hapur, One Year Old Son Burnt The Dead Body Of His Martyred Father, Village Left In Tears

When the mortal remains of soldier Rinkhil Baliyan of village Bhatail, who was martyred in a road accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, reached the village on Saturday morning, the entire village was immersed in mourning. On the other hand, when the one year old innocent child, who had not yet had the privilege of calling the martyr his father, reached the cremation ground to cremate his dead body, this scene tore everyone's heart.

While giving the last farewell, as long as the sun and moon remain, your name will remain Rinkhil and the atmosphere echoed with slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai. Seeing this heart-wrenching scene, even District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey could not stop his tears. During this time, MLA Vijaypal Aadhati, SP Gyananjay Singh and former MLA Gajraj Singh were also present there.

There was mourning in the village ever since the news of Rinkhil Baliyan's sacrifice was received. Due to bad weather, the mortal remains could not reach the village on Friday, due to which the relatives were left with tears in their eyes waiting. As soon as the mortal remains reached the village in an army vehicle at around 9 am on Saturday morning, there was an outcry in the house. Wife Rinki and mother Manju fainted after seeing the dead body, while younger brother Rishabh fell unconscious in shock.

Seeing the pitiful cries of the relatives, the eyes of everyone present there became moist. After the last darshan at home, the martyr's body was taken to the crematorium in a funeral procession. There was no space even to set foot on the streets through which the procession passed. The women standing on the rooftops were bidding farewell with tearful eyes to the brave son who sacrificed his life to protect the country.

Hundreds of villagers, ex-servicemen and regional people were present at the cremation ground. In the last rites, MLA Vijaypal Aadhati, District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey, Superintendent of Police Gyananjay Singh, former MLA Gajraj Singh, many public representatives and administrative officials and ex-servicemen paid tribute to the soldier by offering floral tributes.

An innocent child was cremated in his lap

The most heart-wrenching moment during the last rites came when the martyr's younger brother Rishabh lit the funeral pyre of his elder brother, carrying his one-year-old innocent nephew Raghav in his lap. Seeing this, tears flowed from the eyes of the people present there. Many officers including DM Abhishek Pandey suddenly started panicking. As soon as the pyre was lit after the salute, the entire cremation ground echoed with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Veer Amar Rahe. This scene was such that it made everyone present there emotional.
