Event manager Ravish Mishra, 27, jumped ten feet and fell ten feet after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Wednesday near the Government Park in Alambagh, due to which he suffered a serious head injury. Police, with the help of local people, took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Ravish had left home to book a train ticket to Patna. Inspector Subhash Chandra told that Ravish Mishra originally lived in Indrapuri Colony of Bholakheda on Kanpur Road. Ravish used to run an event management company. According to family members, he left for Charbagh railway station on bike on Wednesday afternoon.
He had to go to Patna, where there was work related to a railway tender. For this he was going to book the ticket first. According to eyewitnesses, when Ravish reached near the government park, an unknown vehicle coming from behind hit his bike hard.
As soon as the collision occurred, Ravish jumped ten feet and fell on the road. People present nearby immediately informed the police. Inspector said that based on the complaint of the family, a case will be registered and further action will be taken.
The footage of CC cameras installed around the incident spot is being scrutinized so that the vehicle and driver can be identified. Apart from Ravish's parents, there are three sisters and two brothers in the family. His father is a retired railway employee. Ravish was handling the financial responsibilities of the family.
