Jagran correspondent, Meerut. Due to severe cold and fog, DM Dr. VK Singh has declared a holiday from January 7 and 8 for the students studying in schools from pre-nursery to class nine of the district. This order will be strictly applicable to all board schools.
District School Inspector Rajesh Kumar said that on the orders of the district administration, classes from pre-nursery to class nine will remain completely closed till January 7 and 8. For students studying from class 10 to 12, schools will operate from 10 am to 3 pm. Examinations in schools will be conducted as per the scheduled schedule. He has given instructions to all the principals to strictly follow the DM's orders.
