Jagran correspondent, Meerut. The annual festival of Siddha Peeth Shri Khatu Shyam Temple located in Mandi was celebrated with great pomp on Tuesday. On this occasion, Khatu Shyam Baba was decorated with foreign flowers and offered Chhappan Bhog. After this Baba's hymns were sung.

Temple priest Harish Raturi said that the bhajans of Shital Pandey who came from Delhi, Bhar De Re Shyam Jholi Bharde and Pooja Sharma of Meerut mesmerized the devotees. He told that Rohit Kansal, Praveen Aggarwal, Saurabh Bansal and Ankit Bansal helped in decorating Baba.

At the same time, Kamal Nayan Bindal helped in Baba's Chhappan Bhog and Shyam's kitchen. Devotees from every corner of the city came to visit the annual festival of Shri Khatu Shyam Temple. The temple committee welcomed all the devotees. During this, committee members Dinesh Kumar Gupta, General Secretary Radheshyam Aggarwal, Senior Vice President Manoj Gupta, Vice President Sandeep Mittal, Rajiv Mittal and Ajay Mittal and others were present.

Baba's dola was decorated with flowers from Kolkata on the fourth day of Phalgun Mahotsav at Chhota Khatu Dham located in Multan Nagar on Baghpat Road. Vineeta Sandeep Parashar lit the flame and invoked Shyam Baba. After this, Jitendra Sharma started the bhajan evening by worshiping Ganesh.

Bhajan singer Aarohi Raghav told Kishori that such arrangements should be made, Radhe Albeli Sarkar, the devotees got excited after listening to the bhajan. After this, Chhappan bhog and 1.25 paisa halwa were offered to Shyam Baba. Former MLA Satyaprakash Aggarwal lit Baba's lamp.

Temple Committee President Prabhat Sharma welcomed the former MLA with a patka. After this, Prasad was distributed to the devotees. Neeraj and Akshit Vashishtha praised Shyam Baba. . Today the flower dola was decorated with flowers from Kolkata.
