The patient was treated under the supervision of senior doctors. When his health improved, the doctors discharged the patient from the hospital and sent him home.
Pooja, originally from Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, lives in Delhi with her siblings and mentally ill mother. He told that in November 2025, younger brother Sumit was suffering from repeated internal bleeding. He started feeling worried due to blood in his stool.

Patient Sumit had gone to a tertiary care center in Delhi in 2023. Where he was diagnosed with Hemophilia-A after severe internal bleeding and swelling in his organs. He had swelling in his organs and other problems. When she came to the Child PGI with her sisters on December 2, the doctors examined her.
After seeing the report, started factor replacement therapy. Before this the team found out the cause of excessive bleeding. Investigation revealed that he had inhibitor positive hemophilia, which was not detected earlier. After this he was given bypass intensive care medicines. The result was that his condition improved.
Meanwhile, he continued his treatment with the help of patient welfare schemes. He became part of a hemophilia support group so that continued care became easier. Not only this, the Pediatric Gastroenterology Department and Pediatric Surgery Department were also involved in the treatment. The team of gastroenterology department conducted endoscopy to find the site of bleeding.
The team arranged for emergency blood units from the blood bank. The network of blood donors was contacted. Family members also donated blood. The special thing is that the parents of the children undergoing bone marrow transplantation in the hospital also donated blood to patient Sumit. Despite the difficulties during treatment, her sisters had unwavering faith in the medical team.
