Digital Desk, Bhopal. In Rajgarh district, a case of a young man being taken hostage, beaten and his head shaved has come to light. The young man's beard was also pulled and his hair was cut with scissors. The administration swung into action after the video of the incident went viral on social media. The police have registered a case against the accused and started searching for them and have recovered the victim youth. The viral video is said to be from Dilawara village.

The police hit the mother first

Sarju Bai, a resident of village Sedra in Khilchipur area, said that her 22-year-old son Durgesh, father Phoolsingh Tanwar, had gone to work on Friday, but did not return. Later, an acquaintance showed him the video, in which he got information about his son being beaten and his head being shaved. The victim's mother went to the SP office on Sunday, but from there she was made to go to Rajgarh police station and then to Biaora Dehat police station.

Video went viral, police took cognizance

After the video surfaced on social media, the police identified the accused and registered an FIR against them. Rajgarh TI team recovered the victim youth from Khilchipur.

SDOP Khilchipur Arvind Singh said that the youth is mentally weak and had reached Dilawara village by mistake. Was not able to tell the name and address there. The villagers suspected that he might have come to steal something. On this basis there was assault. The matter has been taken under investigation.

SDOP Arvind Singh said that all the accused have been identified and a team has been sent to nab them. Statements of the victim youth and his mother are being taken.

Sarju Bai said, "My son was missing since Friday. He was beaten up. Had to wander between the SP office and police stations. We are not being heard."
