This is how Parveen Babi came into films

Parveen Babi, who belongs to the family of Nawabs in Junagadh, Gujarat, was born on 4 April 1954. Parveen had grown up with the Nazis since childhood. Her father died in her childhood and after her father's death, Parveen pursued her further studies. Parveen, educated from a good school, was very bold and glamorous.

Along with wearing bold clothes, Parveen also used to smoke cigarettes in the open. At the age of 18, Parveen started getting modeling projects. One day Parveen went to watch the shooting in Ahmedabad and when there was a break in the shooting, she started smoking cigarettes and it was here that she met filmmaker B.R. Ishara spotted and immediately offered Parveen for his film.

In 1973, Parveen debuted with the film 'Charitra'. Unfortunately, this film flopped but Parveen's bold image was printed in cinema.

Jodi with Amitabh was a hit

In the year 1974, Parveen Babi appeared in the film Majboor with Amitabh Bachchan. This film was a hit at the box office and Parveen's career also took off with this film. Parveen's pairing with Amitabh was so strong that she started getting offers from many big films and she worked with Amitabh in many films back to back. The pairing of Amitabh and Parveen was seen in cult classic films like 'Deewar', 'Amar Akbar Anthony' and 'Namak Halal'.

The first actress to appear on Time magazine

On one hand, Parveen's career was taking off in Bollywood, while on the other hand, her competitor Zeenat Aman was considered to be. It is said that there was a cold war going on between both the actresses. Actually, at that time Zeenat Aman was the only actress who was known for western look, but after Parveen's arrival, the battle of glamor started between two beauties in Bollywood.

Due to this, Parveen appeared on the cover of 'Time' magazine in the year 1976. At that time she had become one of the most expensive and in-demand actresses of Bollywood. Her hair style and dressing sense impressed everyone. This was when only 3 years had passed since Parveen had entered Hindi cinema.

Name associated with Kabir Bedi, Danny and Mahesh Bhatt

Many people also came into Parveen Babi's life and the first name in it was Danny Denzongpa. It is said that their relationship was quite bold at that time. Both lived in live-in. However, their relationship lasted only for about 4 years and then they broke up.

However, their friendship remained intact after the breakup. After this Parveen's name was associated with Kabir Bedi. However, this relationship with Kabir Bedi also did not last long and both of them broke up. Finally, Mahesh Bhatt came into Parveen's life in the year 1977. Parveen's relationship with married Mahesh Bhatt was in the news. He even left his house for the love of Parveen.

Parveen ran after Mahesh Bhatt without clothes

Actually, when Mahesh Bhatt came into Parveen's life, there were many controversies but Mahesh Bhatt actually became Parveen's support. Mahesh Bhatt was the first person who came to know about Parveen's illness. Actually, Parveen was suffering from an incurable disease called paranoid schizophrenia.

Although Parveen never admitted that she had this disease at that time, her actions told something else. It is said that once Mahesh came home, he saw that Parveen was sitting in the corner of the house with a knife in her hand and was trembling. He told Mahesh, “Mahesh, close the door, they will kill us”.

It is also said that, when Mahesh Bhatt was leaving Parveen, Parveen ran after him on the road without clothes. Eventually the relationship between Parveen and Mahesh also ended. The disease dominated Parveen's mind to such an extent that she used to remain paranoid and used to say that someone would kill her and sometimes her strange actions would shock people.

In the disease that Parveen was suffering from, a person feels that the people around him will harm him. It is said that in the year 1984, Parveen was also sent to a mental asylum in New York.

Parveen's end was painful

Due to her illness, Parveen gradually disappeared from the industry. People stopped giving him work. Parveen accused Amitabh Bachchan of being a gangster and wanted to get him killed. He even made many allegations against Sanjay Dutt.

22 January 2005, this is the date when the news of Parveen's death came. Parveen lived alone in her Juhu flat in Mumbai. Usually, Parveen used to pick up newspapers and milk packets from outside her flat, but the newspapers and other things were lying like this for two days. When the neighbors saw it, they became suspicious and informed the police.

When the police went to Parveen's flat and broke the door of the house, the scene was heart-wrenching. Parveen's dead body was lying on the bed and the entire house was in disarray. Parveen had died about 72 hours ago. This means that Parveen's body kept rotting in the same room for about 3 days. It is said that Parveen's postmortem report revealed that she died of multiple organ failure and there was not even a morsel of food in her stomach.

Meaning she continued to suffer from hunger also. However, traces of alcohol were found in the stomach. There was no one to recognize Parveen's dead body. Eventually some of Parveen's relatives came and her last rites were performed with Muslim rituals.
