State Bureau, Lucknow. Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of political parties are not taking any interest in adding names to the voter list. In the last 20 days, only 23,088 Form-6 have been filled by BLA.
This is only 1.2 percent of the total applications. This is the situation when the total number of BLAs is 5,78,511.
The draft voter list was published on January 6 under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list in the state. Since then claims and objections are being received.
Its last date is 6th February. So far, 18,62,339 Form-6 have been submitted for adding names to the voter list. Among these, the contribution of BLA of political parties is the least.
The biggest army of BLA is from BJP. They have a total of 1,60,974 BLAs. The saffron camp has so far given only 15,361 Form-6. 45 applications have been made for deletion of names.
SP is at second place with 1,56,972 BLAs. He has also filled 5407 Form-6 till now. 47 applications have been given for deletion of names. Till number three, BSP has a total of 1,53,803 BLAs. He has submitted only 1164 Form-6. Only six applications have been made to delete names.
Congress has made a total of 95,328 BLAs, they have submitted a total of 1069 Form-6. There are 5629 BLAs of Aam Aadmi Party who have made only 82 applications for adding their names. Eight applications have been given to delete the names. Apna Dal Sonelal has 5490 BLAs and he has made only five applications for adding names. Communist Party of India (Marxist) has 315 BLAs and has not submitted even a single Form-6.
