Jagran correspondent, Mau. GST officer Prashant Singh has been the district president of Amar Singh's party Lokmanch. He used to teach children by coaching and has traveled from politics to administrative officer. Everyone is shocked by his resignation.
Prashant Singh, resident of Sarwan village, had completed his intermediate studies from Tanda in Ambedkar Nagar. His father Tripurari Singh used to work in NTPC here. Later, he served for many years as a clerk in the electricity department of the district. Did his graduation from Delhi University.
Later, he opened coaching center at the district headquarters and started teaching children. He was also interested in politics. Cots for milch animals were also opened at home. He has also been the District President from Amar Singh's party. Gave the PCS exam during the year 2012 under the SP government.
After this, he was appointed as an officer in the Cell Tax Department. His first posting was in Saharanpur in 2013. As soon as people in the village came to know about his resignation, they became speechless.
Prashant Singh's father Tripurari Singh told that he has two sons. The elder son is Dr. Vishwajeet who runs a private clinic in Lucknow. The second son is Prashant Singh who is a GST officer in Ayodhya.
His daughter is Jaya Singh. He is posted as Tehsildar in Kushinagar Hata. Presently he lives alone at his ancestral house in Sarwan.
The father told that before becoming the District President of Lok Manch, Prashant was also an active worker in the Peace Party. Prashant Singh's in-laws house is in Ghazipur. His wife's name is Beena Singh. Prashant Singh has two daughters. Everyone is shocked after this incident.
