Jagran correspondent Bulandshahr. The morning of Republic Day brought with it the joy of Republic Day and a new historical record in the district.
On the occasion of 77th Republic Day, Bulandshahr has created a record by 77 children copying the Constitution of India in 77 hours continuously. The DM witnessed this historic moment by copying the last page of the Constitution with the children.
Basic Education Department, District Basic Education Officer, on the 77th Republic Day, PM Shri and 77 children from Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya and recognized schools gave a strong message of national unity, equality and inclusive education by copying the Constitution of India continuously for 77 hours.
On the afternoon of Republic Day, DM Shruti concluded the Constitution copying work by writing the last page of the Constitution in the BSA office. DM celebrated this historic and inspiring moment with the children.
Along with the record, under this unique initiative, 77 children from different sections of the society copied the Constitution of India for 77 hours continuously; a wonderful confluence of education, values and constitutional values was seen in copying the Constitution.
In copying the Constitution, disabled children left behind their physical challenges and showed courage, patience and concentration. Nikunj Academy had an important contribution in copying the Constitution. Students of Nikunj Academy participated.
In the history of the district, on the occasion of 77th Republic Day, a chapter of copying the Constitution by 77 children in 77 hours will be added. The department will now start the process to register the work of copying the Constitution in the Limca Book of Records.
The work of copying the constitution was supervised by CDO Nisha Grewal, DDO Subhash Nema, DIOS Vinay Kumar, BSA Dr. Laxmikant Pandey and all the block education officers. Teachers and children were present during this period.
Collective singing of Vande Mataram recorded in Hindustan Book of Records
BSA Dr. Laxmikant Pandey, through a unique initiative, had organized collective singing of the national song Vande Mataram in all the council schools on 14 August 2025. In the year 2025, singing Vande Mataram has been included in the Hindustan Book of Records.
