The incident happened last Saturday around 4.30 pm near V2 Mall in Lanka. Two young men came there and started asking for directions. Even after showing the way, he did not leave from there and suddenly started showing a wad of Rs 500. He said that he was returning after feeding his friend.
After this, those youths asked Pustak Singh to take out his jewelery and tie it safely in a handkerchief. The woman got entangled in the talks of the fraudsters and in the meantime, she folded some paper and gravel into bundles and gave them away, tied in a handkerchief. When Pustak Singh reached home and opened the bundle with a handkerchief, she found only pebbles and pieces of paper. Her earrings and neck chain, which had Om's locket, were missing.
