Income tax raid in Rajasthan.
Jagran correspondent, Jaipur. Rs 4 crore 20 lakh in cash has been found in a two-day raid by the Income Tax Department in Rajasthan. Different teams of the department have conducted raids in Vardhman Private School of Jaipur for three days.
During the raid, cash was recovered from Vardhaman School and other places. Along with schools, Vardhman Group is also involved in land business.
Rs 4 crore 20 lakh seized
The raid operation was started from Thursday which continued till late Friday night. A total of Rs 4 crore 20 lakh cash has been seized in the action taken at six locations. Many important documents have also been recovered.
Income Tax Department teams have also recovered electronic equipment. Documents related to purchase and sale of land have also been recovered.
