State Bureau, Dehradun. Uttarakhand has registered its active participation in the ongoing India AI Expo in New Delhi regarding the emerging opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
On behalf of the State, Information Technology Development Authority (ITDA) is presenting the State's innovation policies and startup achievements on the national platform.
A special stall has been set up by the state government in the summit, where detailed information about Uttarakhand's startup policy, IT infrastructure, investment promotion schemes and achievements so far is being given.
Now the use of AI is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. The state government has now emphasized on the use of AI to ensure transparency in government offices and make work easier for the common man.
Rapid steps are also being taken in this direction. Now Uttarakhand is sharing all these achievements on the national platform. In the stall set up by the state, a glimpse of startups working in AI based solutions, health tech, agri tech, edtech and govtech sectors being developed in the state has been presented.
Visitors are being told that the state government is providing facilities like grants, mentorship, co-working spaces and tax incentives to promote innovation. Efforts to strengthen digital connectivity in hilly areas and initiatives to connect youth with technical training have also been highlighted.
This is also encouraging new startups. During the summit, investors, industry representatives and technical experts are being made aware of the investment possibilities in Uttarakhand.
Director ITDA Alok Pandey said that Uttarakhand's calm environment, better connectivity and emerging IT ecosystem provides a favorable environment for technology startups.
It is being told through the stall that the state government is working towards incorporating AI based solutions into the governance system, so that service delivery can be made more transparent and effective.
