The fear prevalent among these groups is evident from the statement of SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. 'The free trade deal the EU is celebrating today will lead to a free international terrorism deal,' she said.

An Intelligence Bureau official said that on one hand there is panic due to the agreement, while on the other hand the purpose of issuing such statements is to incite violence and hatred towards Indians living in European countries.

Pressure on Khalistanis due to India-EU cooperation on terrorism

They want to instigate their supporters to harm Indians living in these countries. Experts say that after India provided sufficient evidence about the terrorist nature of these groups, countries like Britain and Canada have started taking action against them.

The situation has become worse for them with the agreement with the EU, as both sides have also decided to cooperate and work together on terrorism related matters.
