Communication partner, Katihar. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Eastern Railway has decided to provide stoppage of train number 13163/13164 Sealdah-Saharsa-Sealdah Express at Dhulian Ganga station. This stoppage will be given for two minutes on an experimental basis from January 23.
Giving information, Senior DCM Anup Kumar Singh said that from January 23, train number 13163 Sealdah-Saharsa Express will reach Dhulian Ganga station at 03:02 am and will depart at 03:04 am.
Similarly, train number 13164 Saharsa-Sealdah Express will reach Dhulian Ganga station at 23:33 pm and will depart for its destination at 23:35 pm. With this decision of the Railway Administration, passengers of Dhulian Ganga station and surrounding areas will get the benefit of direct train facility to Sealdah and Saharsa.
Local passengers, who have been demanding this stop for a long time, have expressed happiness over this decision of the Railways. The Chief Public Relations Officer also informed that the number of passengers, facilities and response will be assessed during the experimental stoppage. Based on this, further permanent stay or other necessary decisions can be taken.
