State Bureau, Patna. The government has taken important steps towards developing tourism activities in Bihar with environmental balance. The Government has decided to approve the Memorandum of Association and Bye-laws, 2026 for the formation of Bihar Eco-Tourism Development Society with the objective of conserving natural resources, ensuring long-term sustainability of the tourism sector and promoting active participation of local communities.
Under this decision, eco-tourism potential in the state will be developed through institutional framework.
