Social Welfare Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government and District Incharge Minister of Ghaziabad, Asim Arun has given instructions to make RDC Rajnagar well organized and beautiful. In this regard, he held a high-level review meeting in the GDA auditorium. In which he discussed the long standing problems regarding the main road between RDC Rajnagar.
About six years ago, this road was developed as a vehicle free zone and other activities including street vending were planned. GDA had spent about Rs 5 crore on this. Minister Aseem Arun instructed the officials to prepare a new and practical plan keeping in mind public convenience. He said that this area situated in the center of the city should be developed in such a way that the common people do not face any kind of inconvenience. Arrangements for transportation, parking, street vending and emergency services should be smooth.
He directed to ensure smooth movement of vehicles, better parking system, planned street vending and uninterrupted movement of police, fire and ambulance. Besides, emphasis was also laid on strengthening the security system through CCTV cameras in the area. It was decided in the meeting that the concerned departments would go to the spot and inspect and after talking to the local citizens and businessmen, prepare and present a comprehensive action plan within a week, so that no problem arises in the future.
Just a few days ago, BJP Metropolitan President Mayank Goyal and in-charge District Minister Aseem Arun visited the Vehicle Free Zone and then the pillars on both sides of this road were demolished. Apart from DM Ravindra Mandad, Police Commissioner J Ravindra Gaur, GDA Vice President Nand Kishore Kalal, Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik and CDO Abhinav Gopal, BJP Metropolitan President Mayank Goyal was also present in the meeting.
