Digital Desk, Bhopal. BJP State Organization General Secretary Hitanand has returned to the Sangh. He has been made the regional cum intellectual head of the central region (MP and Chhattisgarh). No one has been given the responsibility in his place in BJP yet. He joined the state BJP in September 2020 as Co-Organization General Secretary. After the return of Organization General Secretary Suhas Bhagat to the Sangh in March 2022, he was given this responsibility. Before joining BJP, he was the Regional Organization Minister in Vidya Bharati.
During the tenure of Hitanand, there were two Chief Ministers Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Dr. Mohan Yadav and two State Presidents Vishnu Dutt Sharma and Hemant Khandelwal. His use of booth empowerment model was also the reason behind the party's big victory in the assembly elections in 2023 and the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. BJP adopted it in other states also.
The party won 163 seats out of 230 in the assembly elections and all 29 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Hitanand also played a big role in successfully conducting the organization elections (Sangathan Parv) held in the year 2025, from Mandal President to State President, without any doubt. There was no opposition anywhere in the elections.

Similarly, he made a good effort to bring new people and youth into the party through generation change. There were many such occasions when he left no stone unturned in explaining in a stern tone to the party officials and public representatives in matters of indiscipline. Now as regional co-intellectual chief, his headquarters will be Jabalpur.
Apart from Hitanand, three more changes have taken place in RSS. Central India's provincial publicity chief Mukesh Tyagi has been sent to the customer panchayat. Surendra Mishra has now been made the head of Ex-Servicemen Service Council and Brajkishore Bhargava area cow service head. At present, Regional Organization Minister Ajay Jamwal will spend half his time in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and look after the work till the appointment of the new State Organization General Secretary.
