Interstate Gang Involved In Cheating In Delhi Police Constable Exam Busted In Bihar, Seven Arrested

Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. Bhagalpur Police in Bihar on Friday busted an inter-state gang involved in cheating in the Delhi Police Constable exam. Seven people involved in the fraud were arrested.

Those arrested include Sumit, Gautam, Bunty, Nitish Kumar, Ankit Kumar Pandey, Shivam Yadav alias Bhupesh and Karan Singh, resident of Jalalpur in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. The gang members used to seek the help of solvers by tampering with the computer system of the examination centre.

By controlling the computer screen, answers to questions were provided through means like Google and Chat GPT. In return, Rs 10 to 15 lakh was collected from the candidates. A case has been registered in Habibpur police station.

Police are conducting raids to arrest other gang members. City SP Shubhank Mishra said that on December 24, a youth from Aligarh had come to Bhagalpur to appear for the Delhi Police constable exam. Two lakh rupees were being demanded from him to make him successful in the examination. When the examinee asked to give money after passing the exam, the gang member took him hostage.

Meanwhile, the young man called his brother and informed him about the whole matter. At night the police got information about an organizational fraud. After verification of the information, a person was detained and interrogated on the basis of suspicion.

After this, raids were conducted and seven people were arrested. Apart from Bihar, the gang's network is also active in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Who makes illegal extortion in an organized manner in the name of passing various competitive examinations.
