Jagran correspondent, Saharanpur. Congress Metropolitan President Manish Tyagi said that on the basis of information from the District Election Office, Aadhaar card has also been declared valid among the six certificates to be submitted along with Form-6 for getting a new vote.
Metropolitan President Manish Tyagi said that on December 10, he had asked for the list of documents to be attached with Form-6 for the new voter to get his name included in the voter list. Also it was asked that if someone does not have a birth certificate to prove his age, then which document should be used.
He told that in the reply by the Assistant District Election Officer, it has been stated that in item no. 7B of Form-6, it has been written to attach a self-attested copy of any of the six documents in support of proof of age. These documents include certificate issued by competent local body, municipality, authority, birth death register, Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, educational certificate in which date of birth is mentioned, passport etc. Along with Form 6, the declaration form should also be filled.
