Jagran correspondent, Mau. The administration has geared up to conduct the board examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council without cheating. On the instructions of District Magistrate Praveen Mishra, the district has been divided into four zones.
Along with this, 24 sector magistrates, 127 static magistrates and 127 external center administrators have been appointed. The entire examination will be conducted under the surveillance of drone cameras. All preparations for this are being finalized.
127 examination centers have been created in the district to conduct the board examinations safely. A total of 77,462 candidates are appearing in it. This includes 37506 high school and 39956 intermediate candidates. Five sensitive and three highly sensitive examination centers have been identified in the district.
To ensure safe conduct of the examination, the district is being divided into four zones and monitoring is being done. CCTV cameras have been installed at all the examination centres.
Along with this, the examination will also be monitored through drone cameras. Arrangements for additional forces are being made at sensitive examination centres. This year, special monitoring will be done on the activities of the candidates during the examination.
If any candidate goes out more than three times during the examination to use toilet or drink water, a written reply will be sought from the room invigilator. A minimum of two room invigilators will be appointed in the examination hall. It will be mandatory to have an external school. There will be a provision of one locksmith for five rooms.
Two room invigilators will be deployed in rooms with 40 candidates and three room invigilators will be deployed in rooms with 41 to 60 candidates. Female room invigilators will be appointed at centers having girl candidates.
No duty will be imposed at the center as duty room inspector of that school. External hall invigilator will be deployed at every examination centre.
All strategies are being prepared for cheating-free examination. The center administrators of every examination center have been alerted. The sanctity of the examination has to be maintained at any cost. An FIR will be lodged against those who are negligent in this. Gautam Prasad, DIOS Mau.
