Zinda strict on New Zealand incident, if there is no apology within a month then protest at the embassy.
Jagran correspondent, Fatehabad. Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee head Jagdish Jhinda reached Fatehabad on Monday. He participated in the program organized on the martyrdom day of Sahibzadas at Jhar Sahib Gurudwara. After this, while talking to the media, he strongly condemned the slogans of 'Go Back' raised during Nagar Kirtan in New Zealand.
Jhinda said that letters have been written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and New Zealand Embassy in this matter. The committee has given one month's time to the New Zealand government to issue a public apology to the culprits, otherwise a demonstration will be held outside the New Zealand Embassy in Delhi.
If necessary, we will go there and demand from the government. He said that such incidents can lead to conflict between religions, while the Khalsa Panth always talks about the welfare of Sarbat and world unity. He also demanded investigation into the matter.
On religious conversion in Punjab, Jhinda said that those who were not controlled are doing so out of compulsion. For this he held the Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee responsible and appealed to the Sikh and Hindu organizations to introspect.
