The police have arrested a young man and a young woman from the spot, who were posing as husband and wife and were living in a rented house with their two children.
The couple was living in a rented house for 10 days
According to the information, a 25-year-old boy and a 19-year-old girl, residents of Aurangabad, Bihar, had reached Ahmednagar in Chitarpur about 10 days ago. Both of them, calling themselves husband and wife, had rented a room in an asbestos house from a woman named Roshan Ara.
The rent of the house was fixed at only Rs 1000 per month. The couple had told the landlady that both the children were theirs. Landlady Roshan Ara told the police that due to extreme cold and after seeing the Aadhar card, out of humanity, she had given the room to the young couple to live with the children. He also told that his three sons work in Delhi.
Seizure was done on the information of Bajrang Dal
Bajrang Dal workers became active on Tuesday evening after the news of the disappearance of both the children spread on the internet media. Sachin, W Sahu, Sunil Kumar and Anshu, who were part of the Bajrang Dal team, started searching in the surrounding areas.
Early on Wednesday morning, they got information about suspicious activity in Ahmednagar, Chitarpur, after which both the children were recovered from the spot and immediately information was given to Ramgarh police. As soon as the information was received, Rajrappa police station reached the spot, arrested the couple, took both the children in their custody and brought them to Ramgarh SP residence.
Used to do recce of children under the guise of selling balloons
Police investigation has revealed that the arrested couple used to sell balloons by roaming around in Shalimar market of Dhurva and surrounding areas.
During this time, a conspiracy was hatched to steal the children by spying on them. During interrogation, the couple confessed to Bajrang Dal workers about the theft of children.
There were preparations to take the children to Bihar and sell them.
According to the police, the couple was planning to take both the children to Aurangabad in Bihar and sell them. Due to not getting a chance to go to Bihar and fear of police, they kept the children hidden in Chitrapur for 10-11 days.

After the safe recovery of the children, a huge crowd of villagers gathered in the area. Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar, SDPO Parmeshwar Prasad, Ramgarh police station in-charge Inspector Naveen Prakash Pandey and Rajrappa police station in-charge Inspector Krishna Kumar reached the spot with the arrested accused couple and investigated the case. SP Ajay Kumar said that both the children missing from Dhurva, Ranchi have been recovered safely. A man and a woman have been arrested in this case. How the children were brought here and what was the intention of the accused, a thorough investigation is being done.
