Jharkhand Weather: Severe Cold In Jharkhand, Yellow Alert Of Dense Fog In 13 Districts Including Ranchi

Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. The effect of dense fog has started being seen in half the state including the capital Ranchi. Kankani is increasing in the morning and evening due to the cold wind coming from the northwest direction.

In the new update of Meteorological Center Ranchi, it is being told that the effect of dense fog will be seen in the north-western and adjacent central parts of the state in the coming days, a yellow alert has been issued in this regard.

The temperature in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas has also fallen. The homeless are facing a lot of trouble late at night, they stay awake and take the help of bonfires. Cold has intensified its effect in Jharkhand. Bone-chilling cold was felt in many districts including Garhwa, Palamu, Lohardaga and Ranchi during the last 24 hours.

The situation is such that despite the sun being out, cold and strong wind is forcing people to stay in their homes. In this season, elderly and children seem to be more troubled by the problems of cold, cough and headache.

Meteorological Center Ranchi has issued an alert regarding severe cold. According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, there is no possibility of respite from the cold for the next three days. Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in the entire state.

The highest maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kanke. At the same time, the maximum temperature of the capital Ranchi was recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be in the next five days?

In the forecast issued by Meteorological Center Ranchi, it was said that there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in the state for the next five days i.e. 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 December. In such a situation, there is no hope of relief from cold even after bright sunshine.

In the capital Ranchi till December 24, there will be light and moderate fog in the morning and later the sky will be mainly clear.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the effect of cold winds coming from the north-western direction has increased in the entire state, due to which the effect of dense fog can be seen in the north-western districts i.e. Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra and Latehar as well as the adjacent central districts i.e. Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Khunti and Bokaro, apart from Lohardaga, Koderma and Dhanbad.

The effect of cold has started increasing in the early morning and late night. People are facing the double blow of weather due to mild heat during the day and cold wave in the morning and evening.
