Jagran correspondent, Panchkula. Famous Sufi singer Kailash Kher won the hearts of people with his brilliant performance during the Sansad Sports Festival organized in Panchkula. As soon as Kailash Kher came on stage, the entire atmosphere echoed with applause and enthusiasm. He started the program with his popular song ‘Aadiyogi’, which made the audience dance. With the echo of the song the entire pandal got colored in Sufi colors.
Kailash Kher praised the culture of Haryana from the stage. He said that Haryana is a land where the culture is very rich and unique. The people here may look tough from outside, but are very soft and loving at heart. He laughingly said that the language used here is as if they are hitting with sticks, but in reality they are hugging with love and expressing their affection by feeding them roti and churma.
After this, Kailash Kher tied the knot with superhit songs like 'Jaaniya Aaniya Ve, Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera Dholna', 'Kaun Hai Woh, Kahan Se Woh Aaya'. When she sang the famous song ‘Tere Naam Se Jee Loon, Tere Naam Se Mar Jaoon’ from the movie Tere Naam, the audience could not stop themselves and started dancing. The program continued till late night and a lot of enthusiasm was seen among the youth.
