Kanpur Mandi Bhav Today 17 January 2026: Today, a mixed trend was seen in the prices of grains, pulses, pulses, rice, oilseeds, oil, jaggery-sugar and bullion in the open wholesale market of Kanpur city. In the Galla category, prices of wheat and coarse grains remained in normal range, while pulses and pulses witnessed slight strength in line with demand. Prices of major varieties of rice remained almost stable. Prices remained unchanged due to limited business in oilseeds and edible oils.
The prices of vegetable ghee and desi ghee remain at high levels. The market remained balanced due to normal arrival of jaggery and sugar. At the same time, a rise in the prices of gold and silver was seen in the bullion market, due to which the activities of investors and traders increased. Overall, the wholesale market in Kanpur appeared balanced between normal arrivals and steady demand.
