Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. The valley is not called heaven on earth for nothing. The attractive beauty here makes everyone crazy about it. One who once steps on this heaven, returns back to his home with the intention of coming here again.

After the recent snowfall, the thick blanket of white snow has further enhanced the beauty of the valley. A social media influencer from UAE has fallen in love with this beauty. After traveling thousands of miles from UAE, this influencer Khalid Al Amiri is in the valley to admire its amazing beauty and spend a few days amidst its beautiful views and is writing ballads on the beauty of this place.

Writing a post on his social media account, Khalid says, Shikara ride in Dal Lake, snow covered hills look white and charming like a picture. The joy of bathing in snow along with bonfire, Kashmir is truly heaven on earth.

Khalid, a 42-year-old Stanford graduate who has nearly 18 million followers on the social media platform, says he drove about four hours from Dubai and was captivated by the serene views of the snow-capped valley. Many parts of the valley, especially tourist places like Gulmarg and Pahalgam, are covered with snow in the last days of "Chillekalan".

Let us tell you that "Chillekalan" is a period of severe cold of 40 days, in which the night temperature often drops several degrees below the freezing point and the probability of snowfall is highest.

Khalid, who has been in the Valley for the past four days, has posted several videos of his stay, including a boat ride in Dal Lake wearing a pheran. In another of his videos, the influencer can be seen taking a 'snow bath' in Gulmarg, where the day temperature has remained close to the freezing point due to heavy snowfall over the past few days. He wrote on his Facebook page, 'This is a snowy heaven, full of beauty beyond imagination, Masha Allah.'

He has also been impressed by the warm welcome Al Ameri has received. Amiri said, the beauty of Kashmir is much deeper than what is visible in photographs or videos. After spending time here, I realized that its true beauty lies not only in the natural scenery but also in the way the traditions are lived every day.

Also influenced by the culture of Kashmir

“Wearing a pheran on the banks of Dal Lake gave me a glimpse of a culture that has been preserved for generations through practice, patience and pride, even as the world is constantly changing,” he said in a post on LinkedIn. 'There is a peace in Kashmir which is not limited only to the views there. This peace lies in the silence there, the slow pace and the peace available for thinking and understanding.

He said that such moments teach us an important lesson that progress is not always achieved by doing more work, but by taking a step back and understanding ourselves afresh. Extending an indirect invitation to his friends and admirers to visit the Valley, Al Amiri said that clarity in life and work often comes when we allow ourselves to slow down, listen and move forward thoughtfully rather than hastily.
