Jasan, Agra. An important update has come for NEET UG 2026. National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently issued an advisory, in which it was told that before filling the application form, your necessary documents have to be updated and prepared correctly. By doing this, application rejection, complaints or any kind of problem can be avoided later.
In particular, the Aadhaar card information including name, date of birth, photo, gender, address and biometric details should exactly match with the class 10th certificate. If there is any mistake in it, then immediately get it corrected by visiting UIDAI website uidai.gov.in or myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in or from the nearest Aadhaar center.
Disabled category students must keep their UDID card valid and renewed. Also, candidates belonging to categories like EWS, SC, ST or OBC-NCL must ensure that their category certificate is latest, valid and issued as per the rules. Moreover, the National Medical Commission (NMC) had released the NEET UG 2026 syllabus in December.
The syllabus is based on NCERT books of class 11th and 12th and no major changes have been made in it. The focus will be on the main topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology only. NMC has clearly said that students should prepare according to this syllabus, so that there is no confusion. PDF of the syllabus is available on nmc.org.in.
