Jagran correspondent, Meerut. A leopard has been seen in the forest near Gandhi Bagh in the Cantt area of the city. Army officials informed the Forest Department, after which a search operation was conducted. But did not get success. Due to this, the families of the soldiers are also in panic. Even now the forest ranger is combing the forest with his team.
Local people said that the army personnel on duty at the Two Army Head Quarters complex had seen the leopard four days ago. The forest department was informed the same day but no one arrived. Leopard has been visible continuously for two days. On Monday, when an army soldier was sent to the forest department office, the team reached the spot and saw that a Nilgai had been eaten by a leopard. The leopard has also been captured in the army's CCTV. In this matter, Divisional Director Forestry Vandana Phogat said that a team has been deployed. Preparations are being made to set the trap.

Fight between traders on PL Sharma Road
Jagran correspondent, Meerut. Tanuj Mittal, resident of Saraswati Vihar, Rohta Road, works as a CCTV camera. He has dealings with Satish Pundir, owner of Rudra Enterprises located at PL Sharma Road. On Sunday, Tanuj came to Satish Pundir for payment. Here he had an altercation with Satish. It is alleged that Satish and his associates beat up Tanuj and seriously injured him. Police reached the spot. Injured Tanuj was admitted to the district hospital. CO Navina Shukla said that on Tanuj's complaint, Lalkurti police has registered a report against Satish Pundir and his associates.
