Gorakhpur Link Expressway. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Officials of two districts will resolve the dispute regarding mining in the work of diverting the stream of Saryu by about one kilometer from the Link Expressway. There will be a meeting regarding this between the officials of Setu Nigam, Mining and UPEDA in Sant Kabirnagar and Gorakhpur districts. If the work of diverting the stream is not completed quickly, then the water of Saryu River may directly reach the Link Expressway during the rainy season.
The direct stream of Saryu river comes near Kamhariya Ghat on Link Expressway. In view of the danger of damage to the Link Expressway, work is going on to divert the river's flow. Approximately 65 percent of the work has been completed. A target has been set to complete the remaining work by April.
