Four liquor smugglers were caught at Dhanbad railway station in two days. RPF caught him before he could board the Ganga-Damader Express going from Dhanbad to Patna by hiding the liquor in his bag. 74 bottles of English liquor were seized from them.
Sunny Kumar and Rahul Kumar, living in Fatuha, Patna, had come to Dhanbad with liquor from Barakar by Coalfield Express. Pithu was going to board the Ganga-Damodar Express by hiding liquor in the bag. RPF became suspicious due to the heavy weight of the bag. As soon as we stopped and investigated, the truth was revealed. 32 bottles of English liquor were seized from them.
On the other hand, Ayush Kumar and Roshan Kumar alias Satyam, resident of Jalalpur, Patna, were moving towards the AC coach of Ganga-Damodar Express with trolley bag and pitthu bag. He had made reservation in second AC, in which his seat numbers were 12 and 24. When his activity seemed suspicious, RPF checked the bag. 42 bottles of English liquor were found in both the bags.
RPF SI Manisha Kumari, ASI Jeevlal Ram, Shashikant Tiwari, Babulesh Kumar, Pravind Kumar, Pramod Kumar and others were involved in the campaign.
