CBI Team Reached Jehanabad In Patna NEET Student Death Case, Interrogated The Family For 3 And A Half Hours

Communication Assistant, Ratni Faridpur (Jehanabad). The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) team reached the student's village on Sunday to investigate the death of a NEET student.

A 20-member team under the leadership of CBI IG collected a lot of information by interrogating the relatives separately. The team reached the village at 8:40 in the morning and stayed till 12:10 in the afternoon, the interrogation process continued for about three and a half hours.

Officers had arrived with printer and laptop

CBI officers had arrived with printer and laptop. During the interrogation, statements were taken in separate rooms from a total of six members present in the house - parents, grandmother, brother, brother's wife and aunt.

The answers to the questions asked by the officers were typed and printed on the spot, which was signed by the relatives and sealed. At some point during the interrogation, the officers were seen coming out and discussing among themselves and again interrogating the relatives.

CBI team had taken the goods

The CBI team also took with them some items belonging to the student, which included books, a knife, nail cutter and some clothes.

Brother's mobile was also asked for, the relative told that the mobile was damaged, it was given to a shop in Makhdumpur for repair, the team asked to provide the mobile soon. The team had arrived in five vehicles, which included an IG, an SP, four women officers from Jharkhand and the Shakurabad police station incharge at the local level.

The student's mother told the team that earlier too the local police had come for questioning, but till now no action has been taken. On this, CBI officials assured that the matter will be investigated in depth and will be revealed soon.

All aspects are being examined closely. On the question of delay in CBI investigation, he said that due to late receipt of the case, there is delay in conducting a fair investigation. There won't be much delay in this matter. Assured that an impartial investigation into the matter will be conducted.

There was an atmosphere of discussion throughout the day regarding the presence of CBI in the village. The eyes of the villagers are now fixed on the conclusion of the investigation.
