Murder of 19 year old student of Jhajjar, Yashu Chahar, revealed (file photo)
Jagran correspondent, Jhajjar. A sensational case of murder of a 19-year-old youth missing from Silani Keso village of Jhajjar has come to light. The young man was murdered and his body was buried in a 5 feet deep pit. The police exposed the case and arrested the maternal relative of the deceased.
The accused has been produced in the court and taken on remand for 7 days. On his information, the body was recovered from IMT police station area of Rohtak and kept in PGI. Postmortem has not been done yet.
The deceased has been identified as Silani Keso, resident of Yashu Chahar (19). He was a second year BA student at Nehru College and had gone missing on December 29 after walking from home to college. Police investigation revealed that the accused Indersen, who is the son of the maternal uncle of the deceased and a teacher in Baghpur school, took her with him on the pretext.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused first gave the young man sleeping pills and kept him in a room and on January 5, he strangulated him to death with the string of his pyjama. To hide the incident, he had already dug a pit, where after burying the dead body, he kept misleading his relatives by sending WhatsApp messages from the young man's mobile. Police are investigating the reasons for the murder.
