The team of officers arrived in four vehicles along with CRPF jawans, causing panic in the area. First of all the team reached Sonu Mishra's residence in Chas and thoroughly examined the documents there.
According to the information, Sonu Mishra had done the work of painting on a large scale in various schools of the district. After this, the team of Income Tax officials reached Prakash Xerox Establishment located in Sector-9, where the documents were examined. Prakash Xerox is accused of supplying material to schools and government institutions.
Prakash Xerox has been one of the leading suppliers in Bokaro district for a long time. The buzz is that this entire action is linked to alleged irregularities in the utilization of District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) funds. The department is investigating whether government funds were misused or illegal profits were earned in the related contracts and supply works. However, no official confirmation has been made by the Income Tax Department in this regard.
