Married Woman Missing For 8 Days Murdered In Prayagraj, Body Was Thrown In A Sack And Thrown Into A Well, Wood Was Put To Hide It

In Balkaranpur village of Phulpur Kotwali area in Gangapar, a married woman who was missing from home since January 22 was murdered, her body was packed in a sack and thrown into a well. Brick was also put in the sack and wood was put on top to hide it. There is an atmosphere of panic in the village after the dead body is found.

While taking out wood from the well, a full sack was seen.

People came to know about this when some people went to collect the wood kept near the well on Thursday evening and found it missing from there. While taking out wood, a dead body stuffed in a sack was seen in the well. After receiving information, Phulpur police reached the spot and took out a sack from the well and found the dead body of the missing married woman. The corpse was rotten. ACP Phulpur Vivek Yadav reached the spot and inspected the spot.

Pump set has been closed for 10 years

Ranvijay Singh, resident of Balkaranpur village of Phulpur Kotwali area, has a private pump set at a distance from the village which has been closed for 10 years. People go there only occasionally. Rakesh and Rajendra of the village had gone to collect wood kept near the pump set on Thursday evening. There their wood was missing, which someone had thrown into the well.

foul smell was coming from the sack

When he took out the wood with the help of bamboo, he saw a sack in the well below. A strong smell was coming from it. Both of them informed the people nearby. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. The pumpset owner informed the Phulpur police. The police reached the spot and got the sack taken out from the well. On opening the sack, a dead body of a woman was found.

The body was of 37 year old Seema Saroj.

The woman was identified as 37-year-old Seema Saroj, wife of Anil Kumar, resident of Balkaranpur village, who was missing from Phulpur Kotwali area since January 22. His relatives had informed him about his disappearance in Phulpur police station and a search was being carried out. Seema was married to Anil Kumar, son of Sangam Lal, resident of Balkaran Shapur, about 17 years ago. His maternal home is in Gauhani Bahria. Anil is a mason, he lives in the city.

The woman's husband rarely came to the village

According to sources, Anil has been living in the city with a woman from the village for the last three years. He used to come to the village only occasionally. Deceased Seema has four children. Husband Anil has three brothers. The eldest is Anil, the second is Rajkumar and the youngest is Pradeep. Rajkumar is also married, while Pradeep is still unmarried.

In-laws accused of disappearance

Villagers told that after Seema's disappearance, her parents had accused the in-laws of making the married woman disappear. For this, a Panchayat was also held in the village. The policemen had to sweat hard to take out the dead body from the well. After about two and a half hours of hard work, the body was pulled up with the help of a ladder and rope. Phulpur Kotwali in-charge Praveen Kumar Gautam said that the investigation of the case is going on. The matter will be exposed soon.
