Soldiers moving forward after sealing all the roads in Saranda.
State Bureau, Ranchi. The last battle of security forces against Maoists is going on in Saranda. The morale of the team which killed 17 Maoists in Operation Megaburu is high. The soldiers are moving forward every day in search of the remaining Maoists. The security forces are tightening the cordon from the Odisha border and Jharkhand.
The siege by Jharkhand Jaguar (STF), Cobra, CRPF and District Force personnel continues. All-round siege of Maoists has been done from ten temporary camps of Jharkhand Police and Central Forces.
All the routes of movement of Maoists are sealed and a large number of security forces are deployed there. Logistics has been stopped, Maoists are in panic. They have only two options, either surrender or face the security forces.
Monitoring the activities of Maoists through drones
Security forces have claimed to have surrounded all 45 Maoists including two hardcore Maoists worth Rs 1 crore each, Misir Besra and Asim Mandal, with the completion of which the elimination of Maoists from Jharkhand will be announced.
The deadline to eliminate the Maoists is March 2026, but the way the security forces are prepared, it is being estimated that very soon better news will come from Saranda that the last fort of the Maoists has also collapsed.
For this, the security forces involved in the operation are also taking the help of drones. Efforts are being made to keep an eye on the activities of Maoists through drones.
The soldiers are replying to the Maoists in their own language.
The soldiers involved in the campaign against the Maoists are responding to them in the language of the Maoists. In the dark of night, the security forces also siege their temporary camps like the Maoists.
They put sentries on duty all around the camp, so that if there is any signal from anywhere, they can alert their camp mates with the help of walkie-talkie. Everyone is in a cross mood.
When Maoists were dominant in Jharkhand, Maoists also used to structure their camps in a similar manner, so that they could trap the security forces during operations against them.
