The strength of the Western Disturbance is clearly visible in the satellite image.
Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. The effect of the fog clearing early on Friday morning and the sky becoming clear was also visible on the temperature as compared to previous days. The temperature was maintained during the day and the effect of melting was somewhat reduced. But it is believed that the upcoming seasonal change is responsible for this. During the day, the sun raised the temperature and the weather also provided relief from the melting temperatures.
The heat of the sun continued from afternoon till evening, but after 3 pm the atmosphere changed and melting once again became effective. According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, if the effect of Western Disturbance will be on the mountains, then after snowfall there, its effect will be visible in the plains as well. After this, melting winds can become effective again.
By Friday evening the Meteorological Department issued a new alert. According to the new alert, now the effect of melting winds will be visible on Makar Sankranti. In this regard, the Meteorological Department has issued a new yellow alert for 14th and 15th January i.e. Makar Sankranti, warning of seasonal changes. Along with the change in weather, if western disturbance becomes active in the plains then drizzle may also occur.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature recorded was 18.8°C, which was 2.3 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.6°C, which was 2.0 degrees below normal. Humidity was recorded at maximum 92% and minimum 89%. Whereas the effect of western disturbance in Afghanistan is clearly visible in satellite images. If the westerly winds continue to prevail, the plains will thaw again.
