Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. For the all-round development of Bochahan Assembly, MLA Baby Kumari met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna on Tuesday. During this, he submitted a detailed memorandum regarding the major problems and development plans of the area. The Chief Minister considered all the issues seriously and assured early execution.
He directed the construction of a modern park for children and the elderly near Dighra bridge, establishment of water treatment plant in Barajagannath Panchayat, Girls High School in Bochahan, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mushari and Polytechnic and Engineering College for technical education, establishment of new registration office in Bochahan to ease the revenue works, beautification of Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial at Zeromile Golambar, Budhangara and Rajwada. To end the boat journey, a demand was made to build a permanent bridge on the river.
Apart from this, demand for road widening and construction of divider to prevent accidents on Muzaffarpur-Pusa road, demand for making Bhikhanpur a block or starting camp office there for the convenience of remote panchayats, widening and cementing of roads on both sides of Budhi Gandak embankment, demand for construction of a new sub-divisional office and police station there in view of the geographical importance of Sarfuddinpur, demand for inclusion of rural roads of Mushahari in PWD for operation of heavy vehicles.
