It is necessary to mention the applicant's name, correct address in correct spelling, latest clear photograph and current mobile number in the form. Once the mobile number is entered, the e-epic will be downloaded easily.
Special intensive revision work of voter lists of all four assembly constituencies of the district is going on. In such a situation, there is a facility to fill Form-6 online on the portal and app of the Election Commission of India. It can also be filled and given to the BLO. Among the eligible citizens who are applying to become voters by filling Form 6, the photographs of the applicants are found to be blurry, unclear and not as per the standards of the Commission.
Due to this, if the identity of the voter is not confirmed in the future due to poor quality photo in the voter list and voter photo identity card, he may have to be deprived of the right to vote.
The Deputy District Election Officer has appealed to all the citizens that after filling Form-6 to become a new voter, they must check the entries like name, address, mobile number etc. once. If there is any kind of error or correction is required, fill Form-8 and provide it to your BLO.
