To improve the connectivity of the expressway, state-of-the-art facilities will be developed in the district along the Green Field Link Expressway to be built by UPEDA. UPEDA has prepared a plan to develop various facilities under way side amenity. Land has been identified for the construction of a food plaza before the interchange near the National Highway.
Food plaza, restaurant will be built at kilometer number 37 in the district, land marked
UPEDA will construct a 90 km long green field expressway to connect Agra-Lucknow Expressway with Ganga Expressway. Land of 27 villages has been identified for the construction of expressway within a radius of 30 km in the district. Alignment work has been completed on the land of these villages of Bhogaon and Kishni tehsil.
Interchange will be given on National Highway 34 GT Road
An interchange will be provided on National Highway 34 GT Road before Naviganj toll plaza on the expressway in the district. A food plaza will be built on the land near this place for the convenience of the passengers. Along with the food plaza to be built at kilometer number 37, rest, petrol pump and other level facilities will be provided to the passengers. UPEDA officials have completed their homework in this regard.
Traffic will become easier with seven interchanges
A total of seven interchanges in six districts will be built on the 90.838 km long new expressway for the convenience of passengers. Toll will be collected at these places through Fastag operated toll booths. Additional land has to be acquired for the interchange.
Construction will take place in 36 months after tender
The land acquisition process for the expressway is likely to begin by the end of March. As soon as the rate determination document is approved, this work will be started in both the tehsils of the district. The construction agency will be given more than three years to build the six-lane road.
Designing and other work for the Green Field Expressway has been completed. The tender process will be started after the land is acquired. Homework has been done to provide quality facilities to the passengers along the expressway.
