Jagran correspondent, Jaipur. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has emphasized on self-reliance, Swadeshi and adopting one's own language for a developed India by 2047.

He said in Jodhpur on Saturday, the second day of his two-day visit to Rajasthan, that in 11 years, the Narendra Modi government has made India a leader in global leadership, exports, startups and digital economy. We have become the fourth largest economy in the world, our exports have doubled and we have become a four trillion dollar economy. Out of every 100 digital transactions in the world, 50 take place in India.
India ranks second in the world in mobile production, third in startups, and third in the manufacturing of medicines and automobile sectors. Shah also handed over appointment letters to more than 9000 police constables in another program organized in Jaipur.
These include about two and a half thousand women police constables. On this occasion, the Union Home Minister said that nine thousand constables have been appointed not on any recommendation but on merit. A state can move forward only when appointments are made with transparency.
He said, earlier laws were made by the British, whose purpose was to protect the British and fill their treasury. The laws have been Indianized in the Indian Judicial Code. After the full implementation of these laws, whatever FIR is registered, it will get justice even from the Supreme Court in just three years.
Earlier, Shah addressed the Maheshwari Global Convention and Expo in Jodhpur. He said that the sacrifice and contribution of Maheshwari community in the cultural renaissance of the country has been huge. Maheshwari community contributed in the freedom struggle under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.
Both sword and scales look good in the hands of Maheshwari community. The two brothers who made the first sacrifice in the Ram Mandir movement were from Maheshwari community. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who was present at the programme, said that Maheshwari society has always been a provider of work to the people.
Targeted the previous Congress government
Taking aim at the previous Congress government of Rajasthan, Shah said that papers were leaked continuously in the previous Congress government. Now Bhajanlal government has stopped the process of paper leak. After the formation of BJP government, crimes have reduced by 14 percent and police has modernized. The future of Rajasthan is bright in the coming days.
